Food System Transformation Lead

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to lead our efforts in transforming the food system towards sustainability, deforestation-free, and regenerative practices.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement strategic projects to drive sustainable food systems, leveraging expertise in agriculture, food systems, and sustainability.
  • Mobilize cross-sector stakeholders to advance our goals for food, forests, and climate, fostering collaboration and impact.
  • Design and deliver programs to achieve our Theory of Change, ensuring food system initiatives support biodiversity recovery, climate goals, and a Nature Positive future.
  • Represent us externally, delivering key messages to media, government, academia, civil society, and business, elevating our profile and influence.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in a relevant field such as agriculture, food systems, sustainability, economics, or management.
  • A minimum of 8 years' experience in food systems, sustainable agriculture, or corporate sustainability, with a proven track record of leadership and program development.
  • Strong knowledge of deforestation-free supply chains, regenerative agriculture, and sustainable consumption, with a deep understanding of the complex interactions between food systems and the environment.
