We are seeking a skilled CAD Drafter/BIM Modeler to join our team. As a key member of our design team, you will be responsible for creating detailed and technical drawings based on sketches and instructions provided by the site/design team.
You will work closely with architects, engineers, and construction teams to integrate design elements and ensure coordination across disciplines. Your comprehensive construction drawings must adhere to local building codes and regulations.
In addition, you will gather product and structural requirements, calculating dimensions and material specifications, and creating detailed designs using computer-aided design (CAD) software.
Other responsibilities include preparing preliminary sketches, working drawings, and detailed specifications, as well as monitoring the construction process to ensure works aligns with the approved drawings and specifications.
Required Skills and Qualifications- Diploma/ Bachelor's Degree in Architecture/Drafting/Engineering Design or related discipline
- Familiarity with BIM, Revit, Navisworks, Sketch-up, AutoCad software/computer-aided design (CAD) and general computer skills
- A reputable main contractor with a strong track record in large-scale, complex building projects
- 6 days (5.5 days - Can leave after 2pm on Sat, with no urgent tasks or deadlines to meet)
