Data Governance Professional

We are seeking an experienced Data Governance professional to join our team. This role will play a critical part in building and embedding governance practices across research, AI, risk, and execution data – enabling high-quality, scalable data products that support the front office, risk, and operations teams.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Establishing and running a data governance framework (discovery, sourcing, delivery, permissioning, stewardship)
  • Overseeing data acquisition and due diligence, ensuring compliance, quality, and business fit
  • Defining and enforcing standards for data normalization, classification, metadata, and lineage across multi-asset data
  • Managing sensitive data, access controls, and usage metering
  • Partnering with data engineering to support modern architectures

This is a strategic and hands-on role for someone who wants to shape data governance in a fast-paced, high-calibre investment environment.

Requirements include:

  • A strong track record in data governance, quality, or management within asset management, hedge funds, or multi-asset financial institutions
  • A deep understanding of buy-side workflows (front office, risk, middle office)
  • Experience with multi-asset class data (equities, fixed income, derivatives, alternatives)
  • Familiarity with modern data platforms and governance tools
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to bridge technical and business requirements
