Senior Data Governance Specialist

This is a key position for a highly skilled data engineer who can design and implement robust data governance processes to ensure data consistency and accuracy across various systems.

  • In this role, you will be responsible for developing high-performance data processing pipelines within cloud-based ecosystems.
  • You will also create and manage master records for business entities, implementing data quality management and automated data lineage processes.
  • Another key aspect of this position is assembling large complex data sets from various sources and collaborating with cross-functional teams to derive insights into customer acquisition and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Data Governance Strategy: Develop a comprehensive data governance strategy that aligns with the organization's overall goals and objectives.
  • Data Quality Management: Implement data quality management processes to ensure data accuracy, completeness, and consistency.
  • Data Lineage: Design and implement data lineage processes to track data movement and transformation throughout the data lifecycle.
  • Data Integration: Assemble large complex data sets from various sources using ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) tools and technologies.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Cloud Services: Experience working with cloud services such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
  • Data Governance Tools: Familiarity with data governance tools such as Apache Atlas, AWS Lake Formation, or Google Cloud Data Catalog.
  • Data Quality Management: Proven experience in data quality management using techniques such as data profiling, data validation, and data cleansing.
