Warehouse Operations Director

This is a high-level management position responsible for overseeing the daily warehouse operations and ensuring that all goods in the warehouse are properly collected, received, handled, accurately sorted, identified, value-added, transferred and dispatched.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Operational Leadership: Provide strategic leadership and directions to manage daily warehouse operations and achieve desired results as per SOP and KPI.
  • Strategy Implementation: Define requirements for operation and ensures the implementation of new strategies, technologies and initiatives to drive overall performance.
  • Inventory Management: Ensure accurate inventory records are kept up to date and all goods in the warehouse are properly stored and organized.
  • Security and Safety: Enforce security and work safety measures and controls in the warehouse to prevent accidents and injuries.
  • Budgetary Control: Monitor department budgetary control and allocation of resources to ensure optimal utilization of resources.
  • Process Improvement: Continuously look for improvement opportunities along the value chain to streamline and re-engine processes to achieve and exceed service standards or targets.
  • Team Culture: Establish and cultivate a good team culture of best practice sharing within the program to motivate staffs to voice out their opinions.
  • Training and Development: Plan and provide on-the-job training to individual staff to improve work performance and productivity.
  • Facility Maintenance: Ensure storage and office areas are well maintained and clean.

Requirements:

  • Qualification: Minimum Diploma Holder or Degree holder in warehouse management.
  • Experience: Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in managerial position.
  • Pedigree: Positive mindset, team player and high desire for learning.
