Civil Infrastructure Project Manager Job Description

Job Summary:

To oversee the review of all Authority's and Contractor's drawings, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations. This involves providing endorsements as required by regulatory bodies.

  • Supervise civil and architectural works, plumbing, sanitary, drainage, irrigation, and sewer system installation, commuters facilities, road works, trial trenches, and utilities diversion.
  • Coordinate with contractors, consultants, and relevant agencies to ensure timely completion of projects.
  • Evaluate and assess formwork structure, formwork support systems, gantry crane, and submit evaluation reports endorsed by a PE.
  • Review and supervise safety, environmental, and health matters, ensuring adherence to industry standards.
  • Oversee the installation of instrumentation and supervise sanitary and plumbing installations, pump drainage works.
  • Monitor and interpret instrumentation results, providing analytical reports and presentations.
  • Review and supervise micro-tunneling, mining, Flyover works, sewer diversion (including shaft construction and pipe-jacking operations).
Key Responsibilities:

The Civil Infrastructure Project Manager is responsible for overseeing the entire project lifecycle, from design to delivery. Key responsibilities include:

  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure project deliverables are met.
  • Developing and implementing project plans, timelines, and budgets.
  • Coordinating with external stakeholders, including contractors, consultants, and regulatory bodies.
  • Ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Managing and mitigating project risks.
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, candidates must possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • Degree in Civil and Structural Engineering or related field.
  • At least 4 years' experience in project management, with a focus on civil infrastructure projects.
  • Strong understanding of industry standards and regulations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
