Job Overview

The Materials Sourcing Specialist plays a vital role in managing procurement activities to ensure timely and accurate supply of materials and services to support operations.

This position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, requiring strong communication, organizational, and technical skills.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and issue purchase orders to suppliers.
  • Support operations by replenishing consumables and ensuring timely calibration of tools and equipment.
  • Evaluate and select suppliers based on pricing, quality, reliability, and compliance with standards.
  • Negotiate prices, delivery schedules, and payment terms with vendors.
  • Maintain records of suppliers, materials, prices, and related documentation.
  • Seek approval for parts requiring certification.
  • Track purchase order statuses and follow up with suppliers.
  • Update stakeholders on order statuses.
  • Liaise with internal customers regarding procurement needs.
  • Update ERP systems with incoming material details.
Requirements:
  • Polytechnic Diploma or relevant qualifications.
  • 3–5 years of experience in the aerospace industry.
  • Knowledge of purchasing functions.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Familiarity with ERP systems like SAP or RAMCO.
  • Strong communication skills.
