Chiller Service Technician Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Chiller Service Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in troubleshooting, servicing, and maintaining various types of chillers.

The successful applicant will possess excellent problem-solving skills, be able to work effectively under pressure, and maintain accurate records of service activities.

Responsibilities:
  • Troubleshoot, service, and maintain Daikin, York, Carrier, Trane, and Smardt water- and aircooled chillers.
  • Understand the basic functions of all chiller-related equipment, including pumps, valves, controllers, cooling towers, and electrical components.
  • Investigate and report equipment defects, deficiencies, and abnormalities promptly.
  • Perform preventive and corrective maintenance tasks as required.
  • Perform 24/7 standby duty on a rotational roster to attend to complaints and breakdowns.
  • Prepare service reports and update job records accurately and promptly.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in the chiller industry.
  • Strong hands-on troubleshooting and servicing skills.
  • Electrical knowledge background preferred.
  • Basic proficiency in written and spoken English.
  • Computer literacy is required.
  • Possession of a Class 3 driving license is a plus.
