Job Description:

As a Sales Manager/Senior Sales Manager, Travel Trade, you will be part of a dynamic sales team supporting hotels on a corporate level for unique and complementary brands.

  • You will work closely with the Director of Sales, Travel Trade to understand hotel business strategies and formulate action plans to meet targets and goals at the corporate level.
  • Day-to-day sales activities include sales calls, follow-up on contracting and group enquiries, hotel visits, marketing partnership & opportunities, brochure inclusions and entertainment, etc.
Key Responsibilities:

Sales Management: Establish new accounts and develop relationships with travel agents and wholesalers.

Communication: Handle local and international travel agents and wholesalers with individual and group travel potential for the hotel. Provide timely responses and communication.

Collaboration: Work closely with the hotel field sales team to ensure that we deliver the best to our guests and the revenue team to optimize the rates to the hotel.

Administrative: Support the field to follow up with clients whose payments are outstanding and long overdue (when necessary).

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Education: Degree in Hospitality or related field.

Skills: Excellent communication and negotiation skills, ability to present the hotel product and services effectively, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in sales management or a related field.
