Job Title: Merchandising Associate

At LOTTE Travel Retail Singapore, we are seeking a highly skilled Merchandising Associate to join our team. As a key member of our merchandising team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the right product, in the right place, at the right time, quantity, and price.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Vendor/Supplier Management: Build strong relationships with category-specific vendors/suppliers assigned.
  • Sales Reporting and Analysis: Generate periodic sales reports and analyze consumer buying patterns and market trends.
  • Inventory Management: Regularly monitor stock status and inventory.
  • Pricing and Planogram Management: Update retail pricing and planogram, ensuring accuracy and sending updates to the relevant department.
  • Purchase Order Processing: Prepare and process purchase orders.
  • Product Pricing and Profit Margin Analysis: Review product pricing and profit margins, sales reports, and sales analysis.
  • Sales Report Analysis: Analyze sales reports, store growth, and ranking reports.
  • Communication: Maintain effective communication with various departments.
  • Inventory Review: Review aging/slow-moving products.
  • Promotion List Management: Update promotion lists and forward to the Operations/VM department as needed.
  • Presentations and Reports: Prepare presentations and reports for management meetings.
  • Damage Goods Reporting: Submit damage goods reports to suppliers for claims.
  • Negotiations: Negotiate with brands on promotions and other issues.
  • Vendor Meetings: Schedule meetings with vendors to address business needs.
  • Supplier Information Management: Maintain suppliers' information, terms, and conditions.
Requirements:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Experience: Prior experience in merchandising or retail is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Skills: Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret sales data, excellent communication skills to work effectively with diverse teams, and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
