Job Title:
Tax Resolution Specialist IV is a client-facing role that serves as a liaison between clients and tax agencies. The Tax Resolution Specialist IV plays a crucial part in ensuring the resolution of tax matters with clients.

Key Responsibilities:
Preparing and processing amendments, researching agency notices, and maintaining good client standings with tax authorities are key responsibilities of this role. It involves resolving and processing tax correspondence and amendments from simple to complex cases.
Researching and analyzing issues leading to out-of-compliance notices from tax agencies, preparing and filing original and amended federal, SSA, state, and local tax returns, responding to client inquiries with high customer service standards, communicating with tax agencies to gather and analyze information necessary for tax filings are also part of the job requirements. Additionally, maintaining knowledge of agency requirements, forms, and current tax issues, assisting with tax filing processing and cross-training as needed, and understanding the end-to-end amendment process including preparation work are essential aspects of the role.
