Promotion Manager: Key Role in Retail Excellence

Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Promotion Manager to join our team. As a key player in driving retail excellence, you will be responsible for planning, organizing, and executing mall promotion events that drive sales and customer engagement.

Your primary objective will be to develop and implement effective promotional strategies that meet business objectives. You will work closely with internal stakeholders to ensure seamless execution of promotions across multiple malls.

In addition to your technical skills, you must possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with suppliers, mall management, and internal teams.

This is a dynamic role that requires strong organizational, planning, and multitasking abilities to manage a high volume of weekly events efficiently.

You will have the opportunity to leverage your knowledge of Singapore's major malls and their customer demographics to tailor product selection and promotional strategies for different venues.

Key Responsibilities
  • End-to-End Promotion Management: Develop and execute comprehensive promotional plans, including venue booking, scheduling, promotional theme design, and on-site setup.
  • Inventory and Logistics Coordination: Manage product allocation during promotions, maintain close communication with the warehouse to ensure sufficient stock levels at mall locations, and arrange timely replenishment from the warehouse to various malls based on sales data.
  • Procurement and Supply Chain Management: Liaise with overseas suppliers, place orders, track shipments, and manage logistics to ensure timely delivery of goods to the Singapore warehouse.
  • Market and Sales Analysis: Analyze sales data to identify trends and opportunities, and use this information to inform promotional strategies.
  • Team Collaboration and Reporting: Provide regular performance reports and analysis to management, and fulfill other assigned duties as required.
Requirements
  • Eligibility: Eligible candidates must be Singapore Citizens, Permanent Residents, or foreign nationals who have resided continuously in Singapore for at least 5 years with a valid work pass.
  • Education: A Diploma or higher in Marketing, Business Management, or a related field is required.
  • Licenses and Certifications: A valid Singapore Class 4 Driver's License is mandatory, and ability to drive independently for urgent replenishment and logistics tasks is essential.
  • Experience and Skills:
    • A minimum of 3 years of experience in retail, FMCG promotion management, or supply chain operations is required.
    • Strong familiarity with Singapore's mall landscape is essential.
    • Excellent organizational, planning, and multitasking abilities are crucial to managing a high volume of weekly events efficiently.
    • Strong negotiation and communication skills are necessary to collaborate effectively with mall management, suppliers, and internal teams.
