ProBio proactively provides end-to-end CDMO service from drug discovery to commercialization with proactive strategies, professional solutions and efficient processes in cell and gene therapy (CGT), vaccine, biologics discovery and antibody protein drug to accelerate drug development for customers.

Our total cell and gene therapy solution covers CMC of plasmid and virus for IND filing as well as clinical manufacturing and commercial manufacturing. In terms of plasmid service, ProBio supports the most clinical approvals for CGT drugs including mRNA vaccines, CAR-T in China.

In terms of viral vector service, ProBio has a stable and high-yield viral vector platform.

Your skillsets will be considered for roles in our Protein department, and you will be shortlisted accordingly.

Job Description

As a Biotechnology Research Intern in our Protein department, you will perform experiments on mammalian cells such as HEK293 and CHO, including resuscitation, passage, transfection, and culture.

You will also purify mammalian recombinant antibody and protein using various chromatography methods, and formulate appropriate purification scheme according to order requirements.

Furthermore, you will perform concentration test, SDS-PAGE, Western blot analysis, endotoxin test, HPLC and LC-MS test of protein samples.

You will adhere to safety regulations and product production requirements, analyze and process experimental data, prepare records and reports, manage instruments and conduct maintenance as needed, report and solve production process issues, ensure proper experiment handover, and assist with problem analysis.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform experiments on mammalian cells such as HEK293 and CHO, including resuscitation, passage, transfection, and culture.
  • Purify mammalian recombinant antibody and protein using various chromatography methods.

Requirements
  • Diploma and above majoring in Biological Sciences or equivalent.
  • Familiar with the experimental operation of Mammalian Cell-culture, Chromatography, SDS-PAGE, Western blot, LC-MS, HPLC and other protein detection is preferred.
  • Good troubleshooting skills.
  • Good communication skills (verbal and written).
  • Good team working skills.
