About the Role

We are seeking a skilled professional to join our team as an Application Engineer. This individual will be responsible for providing technical support to customers, primarily in the form of quotations and business development case studies.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of customer requirements and the ability to rapidly demonstrate how composite-based solutions can be utilized to provide cost-effective proposals.

This role will require travel with the business development team to customer facilities to discuss future opportunities in depth.

Key Responsibilities

  • ">
  • Provide customer support by responding to requests for technical queries with detailed analysis of building management systems, schedules of creation, tooling costing, and submittal of design and process improvements.">
  • Work with engineering, sales, and ops staff to understand standard component fabrication techniques, standard composite materials to use, and current demands of our customers to formulate design details for the sales staff and our customers.">
  • Prepare cost estimates by studying blueprints, plans, and related customer documents; consulting with engineers, and other professional and technical personnel.">

Requirements

  • ">
  • Bachelor's Degree in Process & Instrumentation Engineering or Mechanical Engineering with a minimum of 1 year relevant working experience.">
  • Possess knowledge in PLC programming, Pcvue, or ICONICS software.">
  • Transportation composite or other composite experience preferred.">
  • Willingness to learn new things.">
