Structural Engineer Position Overview

The successful candidate will be responsible for undertaking structural design for major projects, producing drawings and reports in line with specifications.

This role involves working on small to medium projects and being a key member of larger project teams, handling design, technical documentation, cost estimates, tender submissions, project scheduling, and meeting deadlines and budgets.

  • Provide hands-on structural design and calculations for a variety of projects.
  • Prepare and review submission drawings.
  • Participate in BIM coordination to support project BIM execution plans.
  • Collaborate with structural technicians to produce Revit models and coordinate with engineers of other disciplines.
  • Produce project correspondence and reports.
Requirements and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, the ideal candidate should have:

  • Degree in Civil Engineering with at least 5 years of relevant experience in structural engineering for building projects.
  • Proven track record in diverse projects such as low/high-rise, PPVC, pre-stressed, and timber structures.
  • Proficiency or experience in Revit, Rhino/Grasshopper, and programming skills.
  • Strong communication, literacy, and numeracy skills.
  • Demonstrated strong design and engineering skills and knowledge.
