Job Summary
We are seeking an accomplished Bakery Master to lead our pastry production team. This role requires a high degree of skill, creativity, and attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities:
- Mise en place for baking, ensuring that all ingredients and equipment are properly prepared and maintained.
- Oversee the production of pastries and desserts, including batch planning and execution.
- Collaborate with the Front of House team to provide expert advice on food allergies and intolerances.
- Develop and maintain knowledge of seasonal ingredients and their applications in pastry production.
- Manage inventory levels and ensure proper storage and handling of ingredients and packaging.
- Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the work area and kitchen.
- Perform any additional tasks as assigned by management.
Requirements:
- A minimum of 2 years' experience in French pastry production, preferably in a senior role.
- An entrepreneurial spirit and a passion for delivering exceptional results.
- The ability to work independently, making sound decisions and prioritizing tasks effectively.
- Strong observation and attention to detail skills, with a keen eye for quality and presentation.
- Excellent personal hygiene and a commitment to maintaining a clean and safe working environment.
- A strong team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A willingness to continuously learn and develop new skills and knowledge.
