About the Role

The Learning Specialist at Marina Bay Sands is a key position responsible for building organizational capability through the implementation of best-in-class programs and interventions. This includes creating learning strategies, designing and delivering training programs, assessing learning effectiveness, and managing internal and external relationships.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement programs and diverse learning solutions that drive capability-building and workforce development.
  • Deliver and facilitate training programs and interventions, leveraging expertise in learning methodologies and training evaluation to ensure effective learning outcomes.
  • Analyze and identify metrics/KPIs to track program impact, learning utilization, and talent and learning development outcomes.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to optimize learning opportunities and budget to develop best-in-class programs and initiatives.
  • Stay up-to-date with learning management systems (LMS) and various e-learning platforms.
  • Lead learning technological solutions and stay informed about emerging trends such as mobile learning, digital content platforms, AI-powered learning environments, learning gamification, automated assessments, and adaptive learning.
  • Provide operational and systems optimization support to the team.
  • Monitor, assess, and report on training expenditures, as well as conduct periodic reviews of talent and learning development policies.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
  • At least 3 years of relevant experience in Talent Management/Learning & Development.
  • Knowledge and experience in andragogy and learning management technology.
  • Knowledge in instructional design – development of interactive, engaging, and impactful learning experiences.
  • Ability to facilitate training sessions.
  • Experience in project management and budgeting.
  • Self-starter with the ability to work independently and collaboratively, building strong interpersonal relationships.
  • Solid sense of confidentiality and discretion.
