About the Role:The Senior Hardware Engineer is a critical member of our team, responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining production test systems to ensure the quality, performance, and reliability of hardware products.
This role involves close collaboration with cross-functional teams including hardware design, manufacturing, and quality assurance to support efficient production and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities:- Design and Develop Production Test Plans: Create comprehensive test plans and procedures for new products, ensuring they meet quality and performance standards.
- Collaborate with Design Engineers: Work closely with hardware design engineers to understand product functionality and define test requirements and coverage.
- Automate Test Scripts: Collaborate with the software team to automate test scripts and hardware interfaces for testing PCBA, system-level, and final product.
- Evaluate Test Tools: Evaluate and select appropriate test tools, instruments, and platforms for production use.
- Provide Test Documentation: Provide detailed test documentation to production and manufacture technicians to ensure test processes are correctly followed.
- Support Pilot Builds: Support pilot builds and production ramp-up efforts.
- Maintain Test Records: Maintain accurate test records and provide detailed reporting of test results.
- Lead Continuous Improvement: Lead continuous improvement efforts for test processes, tools, and methodologies.
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree: A degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or related field.
- Relevant Experience: 5+ years of relevant experience in hardware production test engineering or hardware development.
- Strong Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams.
- Knowledge of Quality Standards: Knowledge of quality and standards (e.g., ISO 9001) is a plus.
