Support Specialist

We are seeking a Support Specialist to join our team.

About the Role:

Families and children facing distress and conflicts due to family-related issues often require support and guidance. Our organisation aims to provide a safe and non-judgmental space for individuals, couples, and families to work through their challenges.

As a Support Specialist, you will be working with our clients to understand their unique situations and develop tailored strategies to address their needs. This may involve providing one-on-one counselling, facilitating group sessions, or collaborating with other professionals to ensure comprehensive support.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide emotional support and guidance to individuals, couples, and families experiencing relationship difficulties
  • Conduct assessments to identify client needs and develop effective support plans

  • Participate in training and professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge

Requirements:

  • Degree in Social Work, Counselling, or a related field
  • Minimum 3 years of experience working with families or children
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
