Job Title: Vacuum Systems Engineer

We are seeking an experienced and skilled professional to fill this role as a Vacuum Systems Engineer. In this position, you will be responsible for providing technical support to field service teams and maintaining accurate and reliable service tool inventory.

The ideal candidate will have a degree in Instrumentation or a related field and at least 2 years of experience in vacuum technology. Experience with high-vacuum equipment, pumps, chillers, and compressors is highly desirable.

In addition to technical skills, the successful candidate will possess excellent communication and problem-solving abilities. They will be able to lead a small team of junior engineers and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide Technical Support: Assist field service teams with technical issues and provide guidance on maintenance and repair procedures.
  • Maintain Service Tool Inventory: Ensure that all tools are accurately recorded and maintained in good working condition.
  • Schedule and Coordinate Maintenance: Plan and execute regular maintenance schedules to prevent equipment downtime.
  • Analyze and Troubleshoot Issues: Investigate and resolve technical problems using analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Work closely with other departments to ensure smooth operations and effective communication.
Requirements:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Instrumentation or a related field.
  • Experience: At least 2 years of experience in vacuum technology, preferably in a field service or engineering role.
  • Skills: Strong technical knowledge of high-vacuum equipment, pumps, chillers, and compressors. Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Experience with PLC systems and sputtering/etching tools.
