Engineering Officer Job Description

  • Job Summary:
  • We are seeking an experienced Engineering Officer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising a team of technicians, planning and assigning daily tasks, and coordinating maintenance programs.
  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise a team of technicians to deliver facilities management and M&E services across assigned properties.
  • Plan and assign daily tasks to ensure performance standards and service quality are met.
  • Coordinate and implement maintenance programs for building infrastructure, Asset Enhancement Initiatives (AEI), and M&E plant and equipment.
  • Recommend and oversee repair works, renovations, and equipment replacement.
  • Prepare and review tender specifications for M&E works.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to ensure quality of services, compliance, and adherence to safety procedures and equipment standards.
  • Respond promptly to emergencies and provide timely updates to relevant stakeholders.
  • Liaise with government authorities, consultants, and contractors on maintenance and compliance matters.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need the following skills and qualifications:

  • Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, Facility Management, or equivalent.
  • Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in hotels.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Good planning and organisational skills, coupled with ability to work independently and in a team.
