IT Infrastructure and Applications Project Leader

Currently, Lendlease Singapore is on the lookout for a seasoned Solution and Project Manager possessing expertise in IT infrastructure and applications management. The ideal candidate will have a proven history in steering the evaluation, selection, and recommendation of tailored IT infrastructure and applications solutions to ensure successful project execution.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Management of Software Application Lifecycle:
    Oversee the comprehensive lifecycle of software applications, infrastructure, and user support, from initial planning and vendor selection to stakeholder requirements management, project execution, testing, and deployment.
  • Project Coordination and Collaboration:
    Work closely with internal stakeholders to grasp divisional and departmental specifications for applications, infrastructure, and operational needs.
  • Quality Assurance and Alignment:
    Ensure that applications and infrastructure are in line with organizational goals, timelines, and quality standards pertinent to the development and construction sectors.
  • End-User Training and Assistance:
    Facilitate training or collaborate with external vendors to provide guidance to end-users and staff on effectively utilizing and maintaining applications and infrastructure.
  • Technical Support and Issue Resolution:
    Coordinate with Group IT and external vendors to deliver technical support and resolve application and infrastructure-related issues.
  • Performance Evaluation and Enhancement:
    Continuously assess and enhance the performance, security, and availability of applications and infrastructure, implementing necessary upgrades.
  • Documentation and Reporting:
    Prepare and maintain detailed documentation and reports regarding applications and infrastructure, including user manuals, technical specifications, and project updates.

Scope of Work:

  • Lead the Evaluation and Recommendation of IT Solutions:
    Conduct comprehensive needs assessments and gap analyses to pinpoint current IT challenges and opportunities. Research and analyze market offerings with a focus on scalability, security, cost, and alignment with business objectives. Develop and manage a thorough evaluation process involving cross-functional stakeholders. Present findings and recommendations to leadership to secure endorsement for the selected solution.
  • Project Management of IT Infrastructure Migration:
    Develop and implement a detailed project plan encompassing timelines, budgets, and resource allocation. Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to ensure smooth execution. Proactively identify and mitigate potential risks and challenges, overseeing the successful transition of data and applications to the new solution.
  • Implementation Management with Managed Services Provider:
    Work closely with the Managed Services Provider to ensure a seamless transition from existing infrastructure. Oversee project timelines, budgets, and resource allocation while managing risks and addressing potential issues throughout the implementation process. Conduct user training to ensure smooth adoption of the new solution.
  • Establish and Manage Ongoing IT Support Services:
    Design and implement an effective service delivery model for the new IT environment. Select and manage reliable Managed Services providers for ongoing infrastructure management. Proactively monitor system performance and address any issues, ensuring continuous service uptime, security, and compliance with relevant regulations.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: A minimum of 7 years in managing software applications, infrastructure, and asset management, preferably within the relevant industry.
  • Proven Track Record: Demonstrated success in leading complex IT projects from planning through execution.
  • Project Management Skills: Excellent project management and communication abilities, capable of managing multiple priorities and stakeholders effectively.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree or higher in computer science, information technology, engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Certification: Preferred certifications or training in infrastructure management, such as ITIL, PMP, PMI, or CMMI.
  • Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of the property construction and asset management sectors, including relevant processes, standards, and regulations.
  • Software Proficiency: Familiarity with various software applications, including Microsoft 365 Suite and Google Workspace, along with development and construction-related applications and ERP systems like Oracle Fusion and Microsoft Dynamics 365.
  • Infrastructure Expertise: Solid understanding of diverse infrastructure technologies, including cloud computing, network systems, database systems, IoT, and security systems.
  • Soft Skills: Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities, complemented by excellent communication, collaboration, and leadership skills.
  • Attention to Detail: A keen eye for detail, quality, and accuracy.
