About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Solution and Project Manager with IT infrastructure and applications management skills to lead the evaluation and recommendation of a Fit-for-Purpose IT infrastructure and applications solution.

Key Responsibilities
  • Software Application Lifecycle Management: Oversee the entire lifecycle of software applications, infrastructure, and end-user support, from initial planning to implementation, testing, and deployment.
  • Project Management and Collaboration: Manage and collaborate closely with internal customers to understand divisional and departmental requirements and specifications for applications, infrastructure, and operations.
  • Alignment and Quality Assurance: Ensure that applications and infrastructure align with goals, objectives, and timelines, while adhering to quality and safety standards of the development and construction industry.
  • End-User Training and Support: Provide training or coordinate with external vendors to train and guide end-users and staff on how to effectively use and maintain the applications and infrastructure.
  • Technical Support and Troubleshooting: Coordinate with Group IT and external vendors to provide technical support and resolve issues related to applications and infrastructure.
  • Performance Monitoring and Improvement: Continuously monitor and evaluate the performance, security, and availability of applications and infrastructure. Implement improvements and upgrades as needed.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Prepare and maintain comprehensive documentation and reports on applications and infrastructure, including user manuals, technical specifications, and project status updates.
Scope of Work
  • Lead the evaluation and recommendation of a Fit-for-Purpose IT infrastructure and applications solution: Conduct thorough needs assessments and gap analyses to identify current IT challenges and opportunities. Conduct thorough research and analysis of market offerings, considering scalability, security, cost, and alignment with business needs. Develop and manage a robust evaluation process, involving cross-functional stakeholders. Present findings and recommendations to leadership, securing buy-in for the chosen solution.
  • Project-Manage the IT infrastructure separation and migration: Develop and execute a comprehensive project plan, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation. Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to ensure seamless execution. Proactively identify and mitigate potential risks and challenges. Oversee the successful migration of data and applications to the new solution.
  • Manage the implementation of the chosen solution in collaboration with a Managed Services Provider (MSP): Work closely with the MSP to ensure a smooth and efficient transition from the existing infrastructure. Oversee project timelines, budgets, and resource allocation. Manage risks and mitigate potential issues throughout the implementation process. Conduct user training and ensure seamless adoption of the new solution.
  • Establish and manage ongoing IT infrastructure management and support services: Design and implement an effective service delivery model for the new IT environment. Select and manage trusted Managed Services providers for ongoing infrastructure management. Proactively monitor system performance and proactively address any issues. Ensure ongoing service uptime, security, and compliance with relevant regulations.
Qualifications
  • Experience: Minimum of 7 years of experience managing software applications, infrastructure, and asset management preferably in the above-mentioned industry.
  • Proven track record: of successfully leading complex IT projects, from planning to execution.
  • Excellent Project Management and communication skills: with the ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders effectively.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree or higher in computer science, information technology, engineering, or a related field.
  • Certification: Certification or training in infrastructure management, such as ITIL, PMP, PMI, or CMMI is preferred.
  • Industry knowledge: Strong understanding of the property construction, and asset management industry, including its processes, standards, and regulations.
  • Software proficiency: Proficient in various software applications, such as Microsoft 365 Suite of products and Google Workspace, familiar with Development and Construction related application, and ERP application like Oracle Fusion, Microsoft Dynamics 365, etc.
  • Infrastructure expertise: Solid understanding of various infrastructure technologies, such as cloud computing, network systems, database systems, IOT, and security systems.
  • Soft skills: Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills with excellent communication, collaboration, and leadership abilities.
  • Attention to detail: Keen eye for detail, quality, and accuracy.
