Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled Contract Management Professional to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the entire contracts lifecycle, including contract drafting, negotiation, and administration.
Responsibilities:
- Draft, review, and negotiate contracts to ensure they meet business objectives;
- Monitor contract performance and identify potential risks;
- Analyze contract terms and conditions to propose mitigation measures;
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop and implement contract management strategies;
- Provide guidance and support to project teams on contract-related matters;
- Manage contract amendments and variations;
- Ensure accurate and timely contract documentation and record keeping;
- Work closely with Legal Counsels, Project Accountants for necessary documentations and reviews;
- Handle contract disputes and negotiations with suppliers or subcontractors;
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A degree in Quantity Surveying, Contracts Management, Engineering, or a related field;
- At least 8 years of experience in contracts management, preferably in the engineering industry;
- Strong knowledge of contracts law and regulations;
- Experience in contract drafting, negotiation, and administration;
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills;
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy;
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills;
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple contracts simultaneously;
- Proficiency in contract management software and MS Office applications;
- Membership in a relevant professional organization is a plus.
