Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Financial Planner to join our organization. This role requires expertise in financial planning, budgeting, and business analysis, as well as familiarity with innovative digital asset structures and emerging market business models.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Planning: Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in line with IFRS or US GAAP standards.
  • Asset Management: Ensure accurate accounting, valuation, and classification of diverse asset classes, including digital instruments.
  • Coordination: Coordinate with external auditors and support reviews involving complex products, incentive mechanisms, and digital assets.
  • Reconciliation: Maintain robust reconciliation processes across wallets, accounts, and financial systems to safeguard accuracy and reliability.
  • Financial Analysis: Deliver insightful financial analysis and reporting to support executive decision-making.
Financial Planning & Budget Management
  • Annual Budget Process: Lead the company's annual budget process and quarterly forecasts, providing analysis and variance reporting.
  • Budget Modeling: Develop multidimensional budget models across products, markets, and regions.
  • Revenue Analysis: Assess revenue composition, customer profitability, and unit economics for key business lines.
  • Financial Guidance: Partner with business units to provide financial guidance on resource allocation and cost efficiency.
Profitability Analysis & Modeling
  • P&L Modeling: Build and maintain P&L models with granular attribution and margin analysis.
  • Revenue Recognition: Design revenue recognition and allocation models for complex transaction structures.
  • Incentive Evaluation: Evaluate the impact of incentive programs, rewards structures, and other strategic mechanisms on overall profitability.
  • Business Validation: Provide financial validation for business initiatives, fee structures, and market development strategies.
Qualifications
  • Education: Bachelor's degree or above in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
  • Certification: Professional certification preferred (CPA, ACCA, CMA, CA, or equivalent).
  • Experience: 5+ years of finance-related experience, ideally with exposure to fintech, trading platforms, or digital assets.
  • Skills: Strong financial modeling, reporting, and business analysis capabilities.
  • Software Proficiency: Proficiency in Excel and familiarity with BI/reporting tools (e.g., Power BI, Looker, Tableau).
  • Languages: Strong communication skills in English (Mandarin proficiency is a plus).
  • Environment: Experience working in fast-paced, high-growth, or regulated financial environments preferred.
