Equipment Maintenance Specialist
Maintain and repair plant machinery and supporting equipment to ensure efficient operation. Daily operational support of conveyor systems is also required.

Trouble shooting, corrective and preventative maintenance programs must be carried out to guarantee a safe working environment.

Ensure compliance with all relevant legislation and standards, including but not limited to OSHA and ISO Procedures.


Key Responsibilities:
Perform equipment troubleshooting in the field and workshop.
Assess scope of work during equipment breakdowns and communicate revised priorities to Operations Management and Suppliers.
Carry out preventative maintenance programs.
Maintain records of work performed and materials used.

Job Requirements:
Complete allocated work on time.
Replace worn components before mechanical or electrical failure occurs.
Guarantee that repairs meet safety standards.
Monitor and control equipment using remote digital controls.
Train other technicians and share knowledge to improve processes.

Provide feedback on effectiveness of preventative maintenance tasks, inaccuracies in documentation and plant performance deficiencies.

Contribute to the online Knowledge database.

As team member, assist in maintaining inventory of parts, materials, and components as directed by the Maintenance Supervisor.
Conduct safety audits of equipment to identify faulty items and repair or replace as required.
Work rostered hours, including shifts, to cover 24/7 operations.
Electrical / Mechanical knowledge of powered and hydraulic / pneumatic drive systems including pumps, motors, etc.
Troubleshooting and repair of DC drives and controls.
Job task will include PLC fault finding.
Electrical measurement testing / inspection.
Electrical and mechanical repair.
Service management and documentation.
PC literate.
Strong sense of urgency and troubleshooting ability.
HVAC, Plumbing and Electrical experience.
Able to make decisions and perform responsibilities in a timely manner.
Computer knowledge of Windows based programs.
Must be flexible in a changing environment with ability to multitask.
Read mandarin for understanding warehouse management system in Traditional Chinese.
