Job Title: Building Services Engineer

Job Description:

The Project Engineer will be responsible for overseeing the Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing (MEP) works on various construction projects. This includes liaising with consultants, clients and subcontractors to ensure timely completion of works, supervising and ensuring that works are carried out in accordance with contract drawings and specifications.

Key responsibilities include preparing method statements, shop drawings, installation/T&C check sheets, work progress reports and other relevant documents for MEP related works. The engineer will also coordinate with subcontractors and consultants on preparation and submission of shop drawings, and assist the project manager on all MEP matters.

Liaising with Stakeholders:

  • Liaise with consultants, clients and subcontractors on the progress of MEP works;
  • Hold technical discussions with various stakeholders to resolve technical/site issues;
  • Coordinated with subcontractors and consultants on preparation and submission of shop drawings.
Required Skills and Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will possess a degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering, with a minimum of 3 years of working experience in the M&E construction industry. Good knowledge of Building M&E services is required, along with project site experience in ACMV Systems for M&E specifications, installations and maintenance.

Desirable Qualifications:

  • Good problem-solving skills and ability to learn and interpret contact requirements quickly;
  • Competency in Autodesk Revit and/or BIM is required.
