Position Overview

The role of the Client Accounts Officer involves critical responsibilities in the management and oversight of client onboarding processes and ongoing reviews. This position is essential in ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and maintaining the integrity of client information.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage, process, and evaluate KYC information and documentation for new client onboarding and periodic reviews.
  • Coordinate and collaborate with various business units and compliance teams to ensure timely completion of account setups and reviews.
  • Conduct thorough CDD and KYC assessments in conjunction with relevant stakeholders to gather necessary KYC and tax-related documentation, ensuring adherence to the company's AML/KYC policies.
  • Perform AML Risk Assessments during account openings and periodic reviews, focusing on the adequacy of SOW/SOF corroboration and identifying potential AML risks.
  • Stay updated on the company's Standard Operating Procedures and any changes in regulatory requirements regarding AML/CFT as communicated by the compliance team.
  • Ensure that established policies and procedures align with new regulatory changes and maintain consistency in workflows among team members.
  • Execute other ad-hoc duties and tasks as assigned.

Qualifications
  • Possess a Diploma or Degree with a minimum of 1 year of relevant experience; fresh graduates with a keen interest are also encouraged to apply.
  • Demonstrate the ability to multitask and meet deadlines effectively.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Exhibit strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Be independent, self-motivated, and a collaborative team player.
  • Willingness to work extended hours when necessary.
  • Display adaptability and organizational skills with a positive work attitude.
  • Possess strong problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
