Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Resident Technical Officer to join our team in Tuas. The successful candidate will assist Resident Engineers in daily close supervision and coordination duties on Building Services (Mechanical and Electrical).

Key Responsibilities
  • Inspect and supervise Contractors' works and tests to Approved Drawings and Specifications
  • Keep quality records of all works, monitor and report on work progress
  • Responsible for the consistency of quality assurance inspections and testing for works
  • Coordinate with Contractors and Owner on execution of works
  • Report to Mechanical Lead for BS Mechanical work and Electrical Lead for BS Electrical work
Requirements
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in quality assurance inspections on large infrastructure project, or solid waste management or water infrastructure projects in Singapore
  • The candidate will be assigned duties mainly for Building services (BS) works for both Mechanical and Electrical (M&E)
  • Areas of supervision may include: sanitary and plumbing, fire-fighting including fire alarm system, ACMV, lighting and small power, security systems, EVC system, ISMS, ViMS, CCTV, FIDS, BACS, BMS, lifts etc
  • Proficient with MS Office
  • Familiarity with BIM software (Revit) is an advantage
  • Possessing a Resident Technical Officer registration with the Joint Accreditation Committee of the Institution of Engineers Singapore / Association of Consulting Engineers Singapore will be considered favourably
  • Possess some flexibility in working hours as per site needs
