Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the seamless daily management and coordination of LNG vessels.

  • Develop and implement bunkering strategies and manage agency appointments.
  • Collaborate with LNG Charterers, Trading, and Operations teams to effectively schedule and strategize vessel movements, ensuring alignment with internal stakeholders.
  • Track vessel performance metrics, generate daily reports, and assess claims management.
  • Enhance LNG loading and unloading processes while ensuring clear communication of all operational data.
  • Supervise vessel vetting and nomination processes, dispatch voyage orders, manage heel operations, and oversee all shipping operational aspects.
  • Address operational matters related to third-party charters.
  • Administer hire payments and conduct account reconciliations with vessel owners.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve any issues arising in LNG shipping operations.
  • Compile month-end reports tailored to the LNG team's requirements.
  • Undertake additional responsibilities as assigned on an ad-hoc basis.

Qualifications

  • Diploma or Degree in Shipping, Maritime Studies, Logistics, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in LNG Shipping Operations, preferably with major oil companies or trading firms.
  • Sea-going experience on tanker vessels is a plus.
  • Strong knowledge of multi-commodity shipping operations and Time Charter Party agreements.
  • Exceptional technical, analytical, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while also being self-sufficient.
