Process Engineer - Semiconductor Industry

We are seeking a skilled Process Engineer to join our team in the semiconductor industry. In this role, you will be responsible for sustaining and improving processes to meet quality, cost, and productivity requirements.

Job Description:

As a Process Engineer, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver organizational goals. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting production ramp schedules by process qualification, productivity improvement, and new tool release
  • Establishing SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures), CAS (Controlled Acceptance Sampling), and FMEA (Failure Mode and Effects Analysis) for related processes
  • Optimizing and maintaining processes using SPC (Statistical Process Control) and DOE (Design of Experiments) knowledge
  • Working with other regions for BKM alignment (Best Known Method) and process improvement initiatives
  • Maintaining process stability and continuous improvement projects
  • Driving process CIP (Continuous Improvement Plans) to improve process performance indices
  • Working with cross-functional teams to deliver organizational goals
  • Leading small teams to deliver departmental goals
Required Skills and Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A degree or master's in Engineering, preferably in Electrical, Electronics, Chemical, Microelectronics, Sciences (Physics, Chemistry), or Material Science
  • At least 4 years of relevant experience in process engineering, preferably in the semiconductor industry
  • Proven ability to identify, assess, and solve problems
  • Strong SPC knowledge (Statistical Process Control)
  • Experience in high-volume production environments
  • Knowledge of process engineering software systems and MES (Manufacturing Execution Systems)
