Uniform Maintenance Professional

Job Summary:

The Uniform Attendant plays a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of uniforms and related supplies. Reporting to the Assistant Housekeeper, this position ensures that all staff have clean and well-maintained uniforms for a professional appearance.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Attend pre-shift meetings to receive uniform requirements and cleaning instructions.
  • Collect, sort, and clean uniforms according to hotel standards.
  • Maintain an inventory of uniforms and ensure sufficient supplies for staff members.
  • Inspect uniforms for damages and coordinate necessary repairs or replacements.
  • Distribute uniforms on time to appropriate departments.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the uniform storage area.
  • Monitor uniform cleanliness throughout the day and perform touch-ups as needed.
  • Handle laundry requests for uniforms and manage inventory of cleaning supplies.
  • Report any uniform-related issues to the Assistant Housekeeper immediately.

Requirements and Qualifications:

This role requires a physically fit individual with strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills. Good communication and interpersonal skills are essential for working with colleagues across various departments. The ability to work independently and take initiative is also necessary.

Flexible working hours, including weekends and public holidays, are required. A positive service-oriented attitude with a focus on team collaboration is essential for success in this role.
