Role Description

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Taekwondo instructor to lead and supervise training sessions, teach students of all ages and skill levels, and contribute to the growth and development of our martial arts program.

The ideal candidate will have a passion for teaching and mentoring students, as well as a deep understanding of Taekwondo techniques, forms, and sparring.

Responsibilities include planning, developing, and delivering comprehensive Taekwondo training programs, teaching and demonstrating techniques, and providing personalized instruction and feedback to students.

A strong emphasis is placed on safety, with instructors required to ensure the well-being of students during training sessions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and deliver tailored training programs for students of all ages and skill levels
  • Teach and demonstrate advanced Taekwondo techniques, forms, and sparring strategies
  • Provide one-on-one instruction and feedback to students to enhance their skills and technique
  • Conduct regular assessments to track student progress and develop customized training plans
  • Lead group classes and private lessons for students of varying ages and belt levels
  • Collaborate with other instructors to organize and execute competition events
Requirements:
  • Certification in Singapore Taekwondo Federation Black Belt or Kukkiwon (minimum 1st Dan)
  • Proven experience as a Taekwondo instructor, preferably in a full-time capacity
  • Extensive knowledge of Taekwondo techniques, forms, and sparring
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively with students of all ages and skill levels
  • Strong organizational and leadership abilities
  • Singaporean citizenship or eligibility to work in Singapore
