
In Process Quality Manager

Key Responsibilities of the Job:
- Develop and execute quality assurance processes within a manufacturing environment to ensure compliance with company standards, customer specifications, and industry regulations.
- Responsible for monitoring in-process quality, conducting inspections and audits, managing non-conformities, and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
- Maintain a robust internal quality framework that supports operational excellence, minimizes defects, and enhances overall product reliability and customer satisfaction.
In-Process Quality Monitoring:
- Conduct regular inspections and audits during various stages of production to ensure adherence to work instructions, process parameters, and quality standards.
- Identify and document non-conformities and initiate corrective actions to prevent future occurrences.
Defect Analysis & Resolution:
- Analyze internal quality issues using root cause analysis techniques to identify the source of the problem.
- Collaborate with production and engineering teams to implement corrective/preventive actions to resolve the issue.
- Track recurring defects and support continuous improvement initiatives to minimize future occurrences.
Quality Documentation & Reporting:
- Maintain accurate records of inspections, test results, and non-conformance reports to track progress and identify areas for improvement.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly internal quality performance reports to provide stakeholders with up-to-date information.
- Support internal quality reviews and management reporting to ensure transparency and accountability.
Process Control & Compliance:
- Monitor compliance with IPC-A-600, ISO 9001, and internal quality procedures to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements.
- Ensure proper handling and disposition of non-conforming materials and products to prevent contamination and ensure product integrity.
- Participate in internal audits and support audit readiness activities to ensure preparedness.
Training & Awareness:
- Provide guidance to operators and technicians on quality standards and inspection techniques to ensure they are equipped to perform their jobs effectively.
- Promote quality awareness and best practices across the plant floor to foster a culture of quality and excellence.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Work closely with engineering, production, and QA teams to resolve quality issues and improve processes.
- Support new product introduction (NPI) with quality input and validation to ensure seamless integration into the manufacturing process.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in any Engineering discipline or related field (Quality Engineering preferred)
- Minimum 2 years of experience in Quality Assurance activities/operational
- Strong communication, report writing, and presentation skills
- Good analytical skills with ability to work effectively
- Independent, decisive, and good at problem-solving
- Able to adapt in a fast-paced environment
- Preferred with knowledge of PWB manufacturing processes
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
