A key role exists for a highly motivated and innovative individual to spearhead our global sustainability efforts.

As Sustainability Specialist, you will drive strong social and environmental impact-related projects to achieve improvements while providing key metrics for reporting and communications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute the group sustainability strategy, including roadmaps, goals and targets, code of ethics, and global work processes for the value chain
  • Keep abreast of industry trends, risk, opportunities, and changes
  • Operationalize all sustainability initiatives relating to social contributions and environmental impacts-related topics, collaborating and engaging with necessary internal and external stakeholders
  • Lead in the identification and implementation of international tools, standards and guidelines, which will elevate our sustainability program
  • Work to improve identified economic, social and environmental impacts in the global value chain
  • Work closely with other relevant departments to ensure the successful adoption of more sustainable practices within the organization
  • Track and manage key metrics and KPIs and communicate group sustainability achievements
  • Manage daily operations schedules
  • Perform any ad-hoc duties or responsibilities assigned

Requirements:

  • Degree in Sustainability/ Business Administration/ Business Management/ Fashion Entrepreneurship or related field
  • Preferably with at least 1-3 years' experience in corporate sustainability and responsibility or similar
  • Good time management skills and the ability in managing multiple priorities are critical
  • Experience working within a matrix organization, captivating internal stakeholders on labour and/or environmental improvements with the ability to influence change
  • A sound understanding of the fashion/retail value chain and its challenges
  • Strong presentation and communication skills with the ability to make complex topics easy to understand
  • Professional with an ability to represent the brand while engaging with external stakeholders
  • A passion for sustainability-related topics and results driven
  • Experience in policy and document writing and/or reviewing
  • Able to work well under pressure with minimal supervision
  • Team Player with positive learning attitude
  • Pleasant disposition with excellent interpersonal skills
  • Able to multi-task with Excellent organizational skills and meticulous in work assigned
