Our internship program is designed to equip you with the skills and knowledge you need to succeed in the hospitality industry. You'll have the opportunity to work on a range of projects, from developing business requirements to supporting the delivery of IT projects. You'll also have the chance to learn from experienced professionals and develop your skills in areas such as project management, communication, and teamwork.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work with the Director, iT PMO to develop a plan to roll out and track key initiatives
  • Support Regional Director iT Operations APEC on regional rollout planning, regional team visit business update presentations, and regional team calls and meeting scheduling
  • Facilitate area office technology planning and improvement
  • Support the communication plan updating and rollout
  • Generate key reports, including internet, EPS, bandwidth, and GPNS compliance
  • Support key continent events, such as the Regional iT Managers Conference
  • Work with the Learning & Development team to develop training on using collaboration and content management tools
  • Apply technical knowledge and project management skills for special assignments
  • Manage continent and regional key surveys
  • Create automated flows to simplify project processes
  • Generate dashboards to track project progress and for report-out
  • Support in the creation of communication decks for new rollout projects
  • Support filming and editing of videos for internal communication
  • Organize and design SharePoint sites for end-user communication

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or Information Systems preferred
  • Singaporean, Singapore Permanent Resident Holder, or valid student pass/work holiday pass
  • Eligible for undergraduate in a Singapore registered university program or undergraduate/graduate of a university in Singapore, Australia, France, Germany, Hong Kong, Japan, New Zealand, Switzerland, United Kingdom, or United States
  • Prepared to commit to a six months' internship
  • Neat, clean, and well-groomed appearance per Marriott standards
