We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team as a Group Data Validation Specialist. As a key member of our compliance team, you will play a critical role in ensuring that OCBC Bank meets the full scope of BCBS 239 requirements.
Key ResponsibilitiesAs a Group Data Validation Specialist, you will be responsible for:
- Performing independent validation of key capabilities along critical data flows
- Engaging with various functions to validate data aggregation and reporting controls
- Tracking outstanding issues and remediating associated actions
- Contributing to the development of our Data Validation methodology
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Experience in data governance, management, and controls
- Knowledge of banking systems architecture and system/process change management
- Good data analytical skills for assessing compliance of complex data flows
- A critical thinker and problem solver with the ability to identify gaps and distil complex processes into effective solutioning opportunities
- A good communicator, able to present assessment results and work with diverse stakeholders
