Senior Principal Power Technology Expert

We are seeking a Senior Principal Power Technology Researcher to join our teams who build great products and contribute to growth.
The successful candidate will be based in Kallang, Singapore, and play a crucial role in shaping future high-power product lines introduced by the company four to six years from now.
- Lead research into technologies that form the basis for future high-power products.
- Conduct research and prototyping of leading-edge power system technologies.
- Collaborate with multiple groups on the latest available technologies and work with the Advanced Technology teams.
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- A Master's Degree or recent Ph.D. in power systems or power electronics.
- Seven years' design experience for Masters degree holders, two years' design experience for PhD degree holders, in high-power circuits and topologies related to power supply design (Rack Server, OBC, EVFC, HVDC, Solid State Transformer concepts, etc.).
- Strong knowledge of power electronics and power supply design, including popular topologies such as Totem-pole PFC, Vienna PFC, T-NPC, ANPC, flyback, LLC, CLLC, DAB, etc.
- Solid magnetics design skills and experience.
- Familiarity with AC/DC PSU EMC and Safety regulations.
- Experience with engineering simulation tools such as MatchCAD, SIMetrix, PSIM, PADS.
- Self-motivation, passion for work, and excellent teamwork skills.
- Competent English skills; Chinese language skills a benefit.
