Job Description

We are seeking a highly organized Quality Control Specialist who will be responsible for verifying the quality of vehicle repairs. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail and be able to work independently with minimal supervision.

Key responsibilities will include inspecting repaired vehicles, verifying replacement parts, cross-checking repair work against service forms and quality checklists, documenting findings, and communicating with mechanics and contractors.

  • Inspect repaired vehicles to confirm all work has been completed according to service orders and quality standards.
  • Verify that correct replacement parts have been used and installed properly.
  • Crosscheck repair work against service forms and quality checklists to ensure compliance.
  • Document findings, noting any discrepancies or defects, and report to management.
  • Communicate with mechanics and contractors to address any quality concerns and ensure corrective actions are taken.

The successful candidate will also assist in developing and improving quality control processes, maintain accurate records of inspections and quality control reports, and ensure all safety and compliance standards are met during repairs.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Previous experience in automotive repair, quality control, or service advising is preferred.
  • Strong understanding of vehicle systems, parts, and repair processes.
  • Ability to read and interpret service orders, repair manuals, and technical documents.
  • Keen attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work with technicians and contractors.
  • Basic computer skills for documentation and reporting.
