Job Overview:

Accounting Professional

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing financial transactions, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.

  • Prepare and process monthly AP payments and SOA reconciliations with attention to detail and adherence to accounting standards.
  • Act as the first approver/reviewer of invoices submitted via the e-Procurement system, verifying correct accounting codes.
  • Monitor balance sheet items, follow up with stakeholders on outstanding matters, and prepare daily carrier remittances.
  • Post related AP transactions/journal entries, provide support to team members through a buddy system, and assist with internal/external audits.

Requirements:

  • Diploma in Accountancy/Business Finance or equivalent qualification.
  • Three (3) years of hands-on experience in accounting, preferably in shared services and freight forwarding/logistics.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Word, and SAP accounting system.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, ability to work independently, meticulously, and collaboratively as part of a team.
