About the Role

Supervise the performance and safety of outsourced maintenance and operations for essential building services, encompassing both hard and soft facilities management for all telecommunications infrastructures, including critical areas like telecommunication switchrooms and data centers. Collaborate with internal teams and external service providers to ensure timely execution of maintenance tasks and repairs. Ensure a safe and secure environment for all employees and visitors. Conduct regular inspections of facilities, identify potential risks, and implement corrective actions to mitigate hazards. Guarantee compliance with safety regulations and industry standards. Act as the Site Main Controller during emergencies, such as power failures, equipment malfunctions, or natural disasters. Formulate and execute emergency response strategies to minimize downtime and maintain essential building services. Manage relationships with external vendors and contractors related to facilities management, including professional engineers and consultants. Oversee vendor performance, negotiate contracts, and ensure compliance with service level agreements and regulatory standards. Assist in the development and management of the facilities budget, including expense forecasting, cost monitoring, and identifying opportunities for financial optimization. Prepare budget proposals and capital expenditure requests as necessary. Participate in and coordinate responses for internal and external audits concerning the maintenance of essential building services, including security and cleaning operations. Plan, coordinate, and implement necessary life-cycle refreshes, facility enhancements, and renovations. Monitor and analyze utilities consumption and seek opportunities for improvement. Provide guidance and support to facilities personnel, including technicians, maintenance staff, and security personnel. Promote a culture of safety, teamwork, and continuous improvement.

Job Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Facilities Management, Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline. Minimum of 5 years of experience in facilities management, preferably within the telecommunications sector. Proven experience and familiarity with best practices in managing facility maintenance and operations, including security and cleaning services. Strong understanding of essential power and air conditioning, ventilation, and mechanical services for critical infrastructures such as telecommunications facilities and data centers. Basic knowledge of accounting and financial principles. Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with internal and external stakeholders. Certification in Facility Management (CFM) or relevant credentials is a plus. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (including MS Outlook, MS Word, MS Excel, and MS PowerPoint).
