Senior Principal Engineer - Project Manager for Infrastructure Development

Overview of the Job Role We are seeking an experienced Senior Principal Engineer to lead our infrastructure development projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing project teams, coordinating with consultants and contractors, and ensuring compliance with relevant standards and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage design coordination with consultants, construction and handover of large-scale infrastructure work
  • Review contractors' proposals, technical specifications and compliance with Authorities requirements for tender, submission and construction
  • Project management, budgeting, claiming, coordination, and supervising large scale infrastructure work
  • Ensure all engineering work complies with all relevant statutory standards, regulations and Codes of Practice
  • Liaise with project Stakeholders, Clients, other Consultants, Contractors, relevant Authorities
Requirements and Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need:
  • Degree/Master of Project Management/Civil/Geotechnical Engineering or its equivalent recognized by PEB
  • Min 15 years' working experience in Project management, Geotechnical/infrastructural/Civil engineering projects as a main Team player
  • Completed at least a project of similar nature as a SOR or equivalent using PSSCOC or equivalent
  • Experienced and conversant with statutory code, PSSCOC or equivalent, contract administration management of claims and EOT, progress reporting, requirements for site management and supervision, project execution plan and quality control procedures
