The Opportunity:
Our organization seeks a highly skilled Algorithm Engineer to design, optimize, and deploy high-performance algorithms for our product. This individual will collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive innovation and tackle problems in real-time data processing.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop long-term strategy aligned with company vision, market opportunities, and competitive dynamics.
- Design efficient algorithms for risk modeling.
- Write robust, low-latency C++ code (C++17/20) for mission-critical systems.
- Profile, debug, and optimize algorithms for speed/memory efficiency on CPU.
- Explore novel approaches to solve open-ended problems.
- Implement unit/benchmark tests; ensure correctness under edge cases.
- Work with software engineers, data scientists, and product teams to integrate algorithms into production.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Applicants must possess the following skills and qualifications:
- 3+ years of modern C++ development (C++11/14/17) in production environments.
- Expertise in algorithm design and complexity analysis.
- Proficiency with data structures and memory management.
- Experience with multithreading and low-latency systems.
- Strong mathematical foundation.
Preferred Skills:
- Familiarity with performance tools.
- Domain Knowledge: Fintech, Gaming, HPC/Embedded.
- Tools: Git, CMake, CI/CD pipelines, Docker.
