High-Performance Trading Algorithm Specialist

We are seeking an accomplished Trading Algorithm Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our high-performance trading group, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing robust and efficient algorithmic trading systems.
The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in developing, optimizing, and maintaining trading algorithms and platforms, with a deep understanding of equity markets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and Implement Trading Systems: Develop and deploy advanced trading algorithms using Java to execute trades and manage risk.
- Collaborate with Quantitative Analysts and Traders: Work closely with our quantitative analysts and traders to understand trading strategies and translate them into functional code.
- Optimize Algorithms for Performance: Continuously monitor and optimize existing algorithms for performance, scalability, and reliability.
- Monitor and Troubleshoot Algorithm Performance: Monitor algorithm performance in real-time and make adjustments as needed to ensure optimal results.
- Stay Updated on Industry Trends: Stay current on industry trends and technologies related to algorithmic trading and order management systems.
- Participate in Code Reviews: Participate in regular code reviews to ensure high-quality code and contribute to team knowledge sharing.
- Document Code and Processes: Document code, processes, and algorithms to ensure maintainability and knowledge transfer.
