Job Opportunity: Family Educator

We are seeking a qualified and experienced Family Teacher to provide academic, emotional, and developmental support for school-age children. The successful candidate will work closely with schools, tutoring staff, and other family members to create a structured, diverse, and balanced learning and living environment for the child.

The Family Teacher will be responsible for providing daily tuition in core subjects, developing customized lesson plans tailored to the child's school curriculum and individual learning needs, monitoring academic progress, and communicating regularly with parents.

  • Develop and implement effective study habits, discipline, and a love for learning.
  • Assist with homework, projects, and revision planning.
  • Maintain a structured daily learning routine in coordination with the family's schedule.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of teaching or tutoring experience, preferably with an international or bilingual school background.
  • Proficient in both English and Chinese, and able to deal with Mandarin speaking stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with the Singapore education system and international school curricula.
  • Passion for children's education, with patience, attentiveness, and a proactive attitude.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills, able to build trust and good relationships with children and parents.

Working hours: Monday to Friday, 4:00 PM to 8:30 PM; Saturdays arranged flexibly based on interest classes; Thursdays and Sundays off.
