Hotel Maintenance Associate Job Description

Job Summary:

The primary responsibility of the hotel maintenance associate is to ensure the cleanliness and organization of public areas, including corridors, restaurants, gym facilities, pools, offices, staff restrooms, and service areas.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough cleaning operations in all designated public areas, maintaining a high level of cleanliness and tidiness at all times.
  • Collect and dispose of waste materials from assigned areas according to established hotel standards.
  • Regularly inspect and maintain all equipment and tools provided for their use, reporting any maintenance issues or concerns to relevant supervisors.
  • Collaborate with housekeeping coordinators to address pest control, unusual occurrences, and maintenance needs.
  • Perform other tasks as directed by senior housekeeping personnel.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Completion of primary education or equivalent.
  • Prior experience working in hotels is preferred.
  • Able to communicate effectively in basic English.
