Driving Change through Strategic Partnership

The role of Petcare Lead requires a visionary leader to spearhead the growth and development of our pet care division. Reporting directly to Global, this key position will oversee the implementation of strategic plans, ensuring clear articulation of priorities and performance across operating entities and divisions.


Key Responsibilities:

1. Drive Strategy Implementation: Work closely with Client Leads to translate global strategic objectives into AMEA implementation plans, fostering collaboration and ensuring seamless execution.

2. Regional Blueprinting: Oversee and provide guidance to Client/Planning Leads on multi-market strategic frameworks, aligning them with Global's overarching strategic intent.

3. Campaign Orchestration: Provide expert guidance to Client/Planning Leads in developing and optimizing fully integrated PESO campaigns, driving brand, commercial, and consumer outcomes.

4. White Space Identification: Lead efforts to identify high-potential markets within the AMEA Petcare portfolio, maximizing growth opportunities.

5. Global Vision Stewardship: Serve as a bridge between AMEA and local market teams, facilitating top-down alignment and bottom-up learning, ensuring all initiatives are anchored to the global brand vision.

6. Best Practice Governance: Ensure consistent execution of strategic backbone across AMEA through codified playbooks, benchmarks, and process rigor in partnership with the AMEA Agency Orchestration Lead.

7. Cross-Agency Integration: Act as a connector between segment and functional teams, driving consistency and connectedness across all touchpoints of the ecosystem.

8. Insights to Action: Leverage performance insights, consumer data, and market intelligence to inform prioritization and course-correction, driving business growth and improvement.


Requirements:

15+ years of experience in marketing, brand strategy, integrated communications, or regional business leadership roles, with at least 5 years in a senior APAC and/or MEA regional capacity.

Proven expertise leading both strategy and implementation across diverse markets in Asia and/or the Middle East & Africa, preferably in the FMCG or consumer brand category.

Experience working in or alongside complex matrix organizations, balancing global and regional priorities with agility and cultural sensitivity.

Demonstrated success in developing and activating segment-level strategies that translate into measurable commercial growth and brand equity improvements.

Strong grasp of PESO media models and experience orchestrating multi-capability, cross-agency campaign frameworks.

Skilled in stakeholder management with a track record of influence across senior clients, global and regional leads, and agency partners.

Ability to partner with orchestration, insights, and client leadership teams to operationalize strategy through integrated workflows and governance.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with experience creating and presenting compelling strategies and business cases to C-level stakeholders.

Comfortable navigating ambiguity with a proactive, solutions-oriented mindset and strong project leadership skills.
