As a Senior Manager, Risk Management and Data Governance, you will play a critical role in shaping our risk management strategy and ensuring the protection of our clients' sensitive information.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a comprehensive risk management framework to identify, assess, and mitigate potential risks to our organization.
- Serve as our Data Protection Officer (DPO) and lead the development of a robust data governance framework to ensure the secure handling of sensitive information.
- Regularly review and update our risk management policies to ensure compliance with relevant legislation and regulations.
- Design and deliver training programs to raise awareness of risk management principles among our staff and stakeholders.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement risk policies, procedures, and compliance frameworks.
- Develop and maintain monitoring systems to ensure that risks are identified and mitigated in a timely manner.
- Provide risk reporting to relevant stakeholders, including our board of directors and senior management.
- Conduct regular audits and reviews to ensure compliance with our risk management policies and procedures.
- Develop and implement business continuity plans to minimize the impact of potential risks.
- Ensure that our organization has adequate insurance coverage to mitigate potential risks.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in business, finance, law, information technology, or a related field.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in risk management, data protection, or a related field, with at least 3-5 years in a managerial role.
- Strong knowledge of risk management frameworks and data protection regulations.
- Understanding of risk control frameworks and operational risk management.
- Ability to handle and monitor PDPA activity, including training and business engagement.
- Experience in handling workplace safety issues.
- Effective collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to interact with stakeholders of varying seniority.
- Ability to manage a small team and provide direction and coaching to team members.
