Job Title: Senior Manager - Risk Governance

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Manager - Risk Governance to join our team at IHiS. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of our Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) system, ensuring effective governance, frameworks, methodologies, policies, processes, risk programmes, and reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain the ERM system, ensuring it is aligned with organizational goals and objectives.
  • Drive the implementation of risk management practices across the organization, ensuring a culture of risk awareness and mitigation.
  • Develop and implement risk frameworks and statements for risk appetite and risk tolerance, in relation to risk domains.
  • Drive the centralization of risk information, ensuring accurate and timely reporting to stakeholders.
  • Maintain a central registry of risk policies, risk registers, operating guidelines, and procedures for new and updated items.
  • Develop and deliver risk reports and dashboards to stakeholders, highlighting key risk areas, concerns, and mitigation measures.
  • Drive discussions of key risk issues with the Board and Management level risk committees.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest risk management issues and emerging trends, identifying relevant risks to stakeholders.
  • Develop frameworks, roadmaps, and programmes to drive risk awareness and competencies, conducting risk workshops and developing courses and e-learning modules.
  • Supervise and manage a team, ensuring successful delivery of GPR plans, programmes, and initiatives, meeting stakeholder expectations.
  • Manage and perform secretariat duties and/or support meetings, driving special and ad-hoc projects and reporting as required.

Requirements:

  • A recognized university degree and at least 8 to 10 years of relevant ERM experience.
  • Preferably attained relevant professional qualifications in risk management, e.g., CPRM, CERM.
  • Strong technical knowledge in risk management frameworks and methodologies, leading risk management practices and standards, e.g., ISO31000, COSO, technology risk or cybersecurity risk management in financial services or healthcare sectors.
  • Proven leader with team management experience.
  • Ability to apply data analytics and visualization techniques to derive insights supporting decision-making, solid business acumen with business services and operational support experience.
  • Hands-on at work, thriving in challenging and ambiguous business environments.
  • Outstanding relationship management capabilities, including dealing confidently with senior management and influencing them to drive change.
  • Strong competence in MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) for report writing and preparation, presentation, and analytics.
