Job Title: Dialysis Nurse Specialist

The role of the dialysis nurse specialist is a vital position within our healthcare team. As a key member of our staff, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care and working collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to achieve optimal patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess and manage patients receiving dialysis treatment, including taking and monitoring vital signs, administering medications, and documenting patient information.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care and ensure seamless communication throughout the treatment process.
  • Conduct ongoing assessments of patient condition, identifying potential complications and reporting concerns to the healthcare team as necessary.
  • Provide education and support to patients and their families on dialysis treatment options, renal disease management, and overall health and wellness.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes, and contribute to the development of clinical policies and procedures.

Requirements:

  • Must possess a Diploma in Nursing or equivalent qualification, and hold a valid SNB license.
  • At least 2 Year(s) of experience in nursing, preferably in a dialysis setting; non-renal trained candidates may also be considered with training provided.
